Mother Baby Fair, Soccer Challenge and Farmers Market: This Weekend in Richfield

With Labor Day weekend only a week away, it’s time to take in some end of summer activities in Richfield.

Here are some of the events happening the weekend of Aug. 24-25, 2013. Have an event to share? Put it on the community calendar and board!

The Richfield Farmers Market, located at Veterans Park (64th and Portland Avenue) is from 7 a.m. to noon each Saturday until October.

For the mothers and babies in the community, check out the Richfield Mother Baby Fair at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24 at the Richfield Community Center. Find resources and information on health, wellness and safety. Prizes, snack bags for the kids, kids activity and more.

Kids ages 10-14 can participate in a penalty kick competition during the Knights of Columbus Soccer Challenge 7 p.m. Aug. 25 at Donaldson Park.
