Penalty Kick Competition!
On Sunday evening, August 25 at Donaldson Park, all soccer players between the ages 10-14 will have an opportunity to participate in a penalty kick competition. RSA has invited the Knights of Columbus to come by and conduct their Soccer Challenge!
Competition starts at 7:00 and participation is free of charge. But there is an entry form (attached) that needs to be filled out and MUST be signed by a parent or guardian--no exceptions. Competitors will get 15 shots at the goal. The goal mouth will be divided into scoring zones--wherever the ball enters the goal will determine the number of points each shot receives. It's a quick and FUN competition!
Kids outside the ages of 10-14 will be allowed to kick as well but their scores will not be counted as part of the competition. This event is not limited to RSA players only. ALL players are welcome to participate!
Winners get an opportunity to advance to regional and state-wide competitions later in the fall. For more info, go to kofcbloomington.com/soccer
