The at was once againt the location for the annual car show on Tuesday afternoon.
As part of the festivities, the car show brings classic cars and new models to the park for all to admire. This year's turnout was a lower than usual, with many likely staying away from the sweltering heat.
While many didn't make it out, those who did had a chance to take home some prizes. Acme Speed Shop club member Randy Osmond of Richfield took home a trophy for his Hudson Wasp.
Also in the show was a 1955 Ford Fairlane Crown Victoria owned by Vicki Hansen of Bloomington, MN. Although not winning any trophies at this show, Hansen told Patch the car took "Best in Show" last weekend in the MSRA Back to the 50s in St. Paul.
Don't miss the parade Wednesday at 1 p.m. Stay tuned for more Richfield Patch photo galleries of the remaining Richfield celebration events.
