students were looking excited and ready for an evening of dancing with friends, socializing with classmates, and generally just cutting loose from the daily grind of lectures and homework at Prom 2012 on Saturday night.

Prom took place at the Minneapolis Convention Center and the building was as ready for the event as the prom goers were.

Balloons and decorations adorned the venue with the several large balloons were being tossed around which seemed reflect the lasers and lights from the DJs in a surreal way.
