VIDEO: Fast Pickin' at Richfield's Bartholomew House Kicks Off Series of Free Shows

Richfield's Homestead Pickin' Parlor and the Richfield Historical Society came together this year to provide three summer evening concerts at Richfield's first homestead, the . The opening show Wednesday night featured Blue Wolf, a local bluegrass band who set a high bar for the remaining acts to follow. 

Blue Wolf is headed up by the husband and wife duo, Jerry and Shirley Spanhanks, along with banjoist Rich Smith and singer and bassist Nick Larson. The Spanhanks and Smith all teach their respective instruments at the Homestead Pickin' Parlor. 

The concerts are held at 7:00 p.m. on the third Wednesday of every month through August. The entire concert series is free and open to the public.
