Rock for Animal Rights and Last August Farmers Market: The Weekend in Richfield
Activities happening in the community the weekend of Aug. 31–Sept. 2, 2013
"Rock for Animal Rights" is a fun, family-friendly show featuring live music, vegan food, outdoor activities, and more! This is also a fundraiser to help animals by supporting the live-saving campaigns of the Animal Rights Coalition. Featuring music by Kim Lauritson, The Sawtooth Sons, Woman of the Forest and Wizard Baby. It's Saturday at 5 p.m. at Woodlake Nature Center, 6710 Lakeshore Dr. Richfield.
The Richfield Farmers Market, located at Veterans Park (64th and Portland Avenue) is from 7 a.m. to noon each Saturday until October.
