Minnesota State Fair Kicks of Day 3 With 4-H Day

Saturday is 4-H Day at the fair, which means swine, rabbits, sheep and more will be on prominent display. A 4-H Purple Ribbon Auction takes place at 6 p.m. at AgStar Arena.

In addition, 1500 ESPN's Saturday morning SportsTalk radio show will be broadcasting live with Joe Soucheray, Patrick Reusse and Judd Zulgad from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Blake Shelton's grandstand show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $31 and $41.

If you're looking to catch a ride Saturday or Sunday, look no further than Richfield. The . Fair-goers may park in the Knox Avenue Best Buy parking lot (officially 7601 Penn Avenue) for free before hopping on a fair-bound bus. Here's what you need to know:

• Service at this location only runs on weekends and Labor Day;
• Buses run 8 a.m. to midnight;
• Kids four and under ride free;
• Round trip fare is $5, riders should have exact change (Go-To cards and passes, tokens, coupons and SuperSavers are not accepted);
• Express buses serve gate 20 at the fair, located on the south side of Como Avenue, across from the Warner Coliseum.
