Richfield Swimmers Send Several to State Finals
Max Hamilton led the way by finishing second in the 100 breastroke seeding.
The advanced several individuals and relays during the Class A preliminary round on Friday at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center.
Advancing swimmers will compete in the Class A championship or consolation heats on Saturday at noon.
Leading the way for Richfield was Max Hamilton in the 100 breastroke, finishing the event second overall with a 59.77 time. He also was part of the 200 medley relay, which finished third, and the 400 freestyle relay that finished eighth.

Andy Petersen is seeded fourth in the 200 IM with a 1:58.67 time on Friday, and teammate Duncan Pederson is currently sixth in the 200 IM at 2:03.73.
The 200 freestyle relay, consisting of Alex Putnam, Pederson, Matt Graham and Mohab Eid is currently seventh with a prelim time of 1:30.79.

The top eight swimmers in each event will compete in the championship heat on Saturday, while swimmers that placed ninth through 16th will compete in the consolation heat.
