Richfield Spartans Partner With do.town to Offer Healthy Concession Options

At an upcoming boys basketball game, spectators can dine on turkey sandwiches, trail mix, 100 percent fruit smoothies and organic burritos instead of the usual soda, candy and hot dogs.

Editor's Note: The following is a do.town press release.

do.town will cheer on its hometown Richfield Spartans – and give the crowd an energy boost – by offering healthy concession items at the upcoming varsity boys basketball game against Hill-Murray at 7 p.m. Jan. 22.

Too often, it’s difficult to maintain our commitment to eat healthier foods when on-the-go, including at sporting events. do.town is sponsoring the upcoming game to show basketball fans that with some small changes, the healthy choice can be the easy choice, even at the concession stand. All it takes is ongoing commitment from individuals and the community.
