Richfield Private Schools Cancel Tuesday Classes, Too

Blessed Trinity Catholic School and the Academy of Holy Angels will remained closed Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014 due to the frigid cold snap hitting the state. All school activities have been cancelled as well.

Forecasters predict Tuesday’s high will be -1 degrees Fahrenheit, with wind chill values as low as -35 degrees. 

On Friday, Gov. Mark Dayton ordered that public schools be closed statewide Monday, Jan. 6. On Monday, the Minnesota Department of Education officially announced that all school districts would be able to decide whether to remain closed on Tuesday as well.
