Richfield Names Jessica January as 2013 Athena Award Recipient
Jessica January was one of six girls nominated for the award.
One of Richfield High School's star female athletes, Jessica January, has been named as the 2013 Athena Scholarship Award recipient.
The Athena Award is given to the "Outstanding Senior Female Athlete" in high schools throughout the metro and suburban Minneapolis area, according to the Richfield Athletic Department.
January was nominated along with Hailey Lindblom, Sierra Ford-Washington, Sydoni (Tia) Rowe, Laurel Youngquist and Courtney Miller.
