PHOTOS: Richfield Crowns Hailey Lindblom As 2012 Homecoming Queen

Coronation was held in the Richfield High School gymnasium at 9 a.m. Thursday.

Richfield High School has a new queen.

Hailey Lindblom was crowned as the 2012 Richfield Homecoming Queen in a coronation ceremony Thursday morning. , did the honor in front of students, teachers, parents and friends.

As the crown was placed on Lindblom's head she was overcome with excitement as tears rolled down her cheeks. She then honored the other nine candidates by crowning them as princesses.

The other candidates were: Yaraily Castillo, Stephanie Chavez, Jessica January, Stephanie McGinness, Courtney Miller, Liliana Perez, Angela Peterson, Shannon Reid and Laurel Youngquist.

Congratulations to all the candidates and, of course, the new queen.

I just knew it! Congratulations Hailey. Well deserved. I remember the first time Aj and I went to your bday party all those years ago! You've always been a sweet, fun, polite and gracious example of what any young woman should aspire to be! I know one Mamma, Grandma and an old neighbor who could not be prouder! Way to go! Mara.
