MN Education Commissioner in Richfield Tuesday for First Day of School
Brenda Cassellius chose to visit Centennial Elementary School to mark the start of the 2013–14 school year.
Minnesota Education Commissioner Brenda Cassellius was set to visit Richfield for the first day of school Tuesday morning, joining Principal LeeAnn Wise, teachers and students at Centennial Elementary School.
Plans for Cassellius' visit included greeting children as they arrive on buses, sharing breakfast with students as they started the new school yearand meeting with teachers and staff to recognize their hard work.
