Holy Angels Senior Spotlight: Kelly Downes, Volleyball

How would you describe yourself in three words or less?

Caring, devoted and responsible.

What is your favorite subject in school?

Science and biology.

Do you have a favorite sports memory that sticks out to you?

When Maddy Lingenfelter caught the ball in mid-air during a play.

What song do you listen to before games/matches to get pumped up?

"Ayy Ladies" by Tyga.

Do you play any other sports?

Nope! Club volleyball in the winter and spring.

If you could visit any place in the world, where would you go and why?

Spain because I love speaking Spanish.

What are your plans next year? (going to college? majoring in? playing sports?)

My top two choices for college are Creighton University and Marquette University. I want to go into pre-med and minor in Spanish. I will most likely play club or intramural volleyball.
