High School French Students Receive Awards
Their teacher, Margaret Laboe, said she and the school were extremely proud of the girls' accomplishments.
Two students received recognition Friday morning at the American Association of Teachers of French awards ceremony for the National French Contest.
Arlette Reyes-Geniz placed sixth in the country (bronze medal), and her classmate, Italia Figueroa, placed 12th, receiving an honorable mention on the Level I National Test.
