Fraser School Receives $50K Target Grant

The grant money will support the school's pre-kindergarten program.

, a Minnesota nonprofit serving children and adults with special needs, was recently awarded a $50,000 grant from Target to support the Fraser School Pre-Kindergarten Program. 

With Target’s investment, Fraser will enhance and expand the Fraser School Pre-Kindergarten Program at Fraser School, an early childhood education center that serves children who have typical needs and children who have special needs together with an inclusive model.

The Fraser School Ready4K Initiative provides a structured learning atmosphere with lesson plans geared toward kindergarten readiness. The comprehensive instructional program balances child-initiated and teacher-directed activities, and systematically teaches children literacy-focused skills essential for success in kindergarten.
