Breakfast With Books: Sheridan Hills Celebrates Read Across America Day
Sheridan Hills Elementary School invited parents to attend its Breakfast With Books Wednesday to participate in Read Across America Day with their children.
Wednesday was the National Education Association's Read Across America Day and hosted Breakfast With Books for parents and students to celebrate the day together.
Students brought along their favorite books along to read with their parents and other students while enjoying doughnuts and juice, according to , first grade teacher at the school.
Sheridan Hills continued the reading day with Cat in the Hat-Hat Day where students were allowed to where their favorite hat all day.

The school will be doing more reading events throughout the month of March. Patch will have photos of the students' hat day Saturday and other special days throughout the month.
