Robbery at Knifepoint, Stolen Shoes & Burglary: Police Blotter

The Richfield Public Safety Department releases its most recent crime reports.

All the following information was taken from the Richfield Public Safety Department's crime reports from June 24, 2013, detailing incidents from June 20-22.

June 20

  • Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on the 6300 block of 1st Avenue. An adult male was located and arrested for violating a protection order.
  • Police located a man carrying a box near 69th Street West and Xerxes Avenue. He was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and arrested.
  • A vehicle parked on the 6700 block of Cedar Avenue was reported stolen.
  • Police took a burglary report where a Play Station 3 was missing.
  • Police responded to a robbery on the 7400 block of Oliver Avenue. The victim reported being robbed of $140 at knifepoint. A juvenile suspect was located and arrested.
June 21
  • The owner of an apartment complex on the 6400 block of Pleasant Avenue reported the front glass door had been broken.
  • A victim reported that her husband violated a protection order.
  • Sixty dollars in coins were reported stolen from a coin-operated laundry machine at a business on the 2100 block of 66th Street West.
June 22
  • Two windows were reportedly damaged by an unknown person on the 6600 block of Chicago Avenue.
  • A business on the 6500 block of Richfield Parkway reported that $110 worth of shoes were stollen.
