Richfield Police Find Four Bullet Casings in Trash Can

The RIchfield Public Safety Department releases its most recent crime reports.

All the following information was taken from the 's crime report from Jan. 19, 2012, detailing incidents from Jan. 16-18.

A resident reported that an unknown person through a rock through his back window Jan. 16.

Police responded to reports of shots fired on the 7100 block of Cedar Avenue Jan. 16. Police checked the area and didn't find anything to coroborate the report. However, a few minutes later an officer located four 9-mm shell casings in the trash can outside the main entrance of 7134 Cedar Ave. S.

Police responded to a fight at the REM group home on the 7600 block of Thomas Avenue Jan. 16. One party was taken to the hospital for an injury to his hands.

A 29-year-old Richfield man was charged with interfering with a 911 call Jan. 16.

A wallet was reported stolen from the kitchen Jan. 16.

Police responded to a burglary on the 7300 block of Cedar Avenue Jan. 16.

An 18-year-old Richfield woman was charged with assaulting an officer, disorderly conduct and property damage Jan. 17.

A 20-year-old Richfield man was charged with assault Jan. 17.

reported that someone had attempted to use a counterfeit $100 bill at the store Jan. 18.

Police responded to a report of an attempted burglary on the 300 block of 63rd Street West.

A wallet was reported stolen Jan. 18.
