Richfield Police Blotter: Woman Opens Front Door to a Not-So-Nice Sight

The Richfield Public Safety Department releases its most recent crime reports.

According to the latest crime reports, a Richfield resident, and substitute teacher, came out her front door the morning of July 11 after hearing a noise, only to discover her neighbors’ chairs stacked in her front yard with feces on them. Toilet paper was also strung about in a tree.

The victim said she saw two white, juvenile males run from the area and get into a light colored SUV.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first harassment incident the woman has endured in the past week. According to the reports, she also reported that an unknown suspect lit a tampon on fire in front of her door on July 4.  Police have not found out what is causing the harassment.
