Richfield Police Blotter: Oct. 23-26

The Richfield Public Safety Department releases its most recent crime reports detailing incidents from Oct. 23-26.

All information was taken from the Incident and Arrest Reports from Oct. 27.

Oct. 23

Officers responded to a car prowling incident and subsequently located two
suspects involved in the event, both juveniles as well as located multiple victims in the incident.

Officers located a juvenile male walking down the street who appeared to be staggering. He was found to have a BAC level of .207.

A victim at the Candlewood stated that four parties assaulted him, stole items valued at $650 and damaged a $450 laptop.

An officer was dispatched to an assault in the area of the Buena Vista apartment
complex. The victim was taken to HCMC to be assessed for his injuries.

Over $1,000 in damage was done to a garage door on the 6000 block of Garfield Ave. S., and one of three suspects was arrested and taken to jail.

Oct. 24

A bike was reported stolen. There are no suspects.

A victim noticed her left rear window of her car had been damaged and it appeared a BB had been shot through it, cracking the window. The value of the damage is $200.

An officer was dispatched to the 7200 block of Cedar Ave. S. to take a report of theft of a necklace valued at $20.

An officer was dispatched to a female victim who had been pushed down in the street by a male party at 70th St. W. and Penn Ave. S.

An officer responded to a house on the 6900 16 Ave. S. concerning possible domestic abuse. A family member had shoved and scratched the victim and left the home.  The suspect was not located.

Oct. 25

A school liaison officer took a report of threats made by a student.  A meeting will be held to determine the best course of action for the student involved.

An officer responded to 7100 Cedar Ave. S. on possible drug activity and level of noise in one of the apartments. The victim wanted to report being threatened by one of the occupants of the noisy apartment.
