Richfield Police Blotter: Man Charged With Assault, Violating Order of Protection

And multiple theft from vehicle incidents happen over the weekend.

All the following information was taken from the crime reports Monday, detailing incidents from July 14-16.

A man who reportedly assault his girlfriend and brother July 15 was taken in by Police on an outstanding warrant and violation of a no contact order.

Police responded to a report of a fight at the home at 6339 Nicollet Avenue. Once they arrived those inside would not let them in. Later the Police learned of the outstanding warrant and the assault incident and took him into custody.

Police are investigating a robbery that occurred on the 7400 block of Xerxes Avenue July 15.

Police are investigating a theft from vehicle incident that occurred on the 7300 block of Penn Avenue July 15.

Police investigated a fraudulent, $400 credit card transaction July 15.

Police investigated a theft from vehicle incident that occurred on the 7300 block of Harriet Avenue July 15.

Police are investigating a property damage incident that occurred on the 6900 block of Xerxes Avenue July 15.

Police responded to a shoplifting report at Richfield Walgreens July 15. The suspect was described as a Native American female who took two bottles of baby wash and other items, which are unknown at this time.

Police are investigating a property damage incident that occurred on the 7600 block of 2nd Avenue in July 16.

Police are investigating a property damage incident that occurred on the 6300 block of Bloomington Avenue July 16.

Police are investigating a property damage incident on the 6400 block of Bloomington Avenue July 16.

A 26-year-old Richfield man was charged with assault July 16.
