Richfield Police Blotter: Jan. 12-15

The Richfield Public Safety Department releases its most recent crime reports.

All the following information was taken from the 's Crime Reports from Jan. 17, 2012, detailing incidents from Jan. 12-15.

A blue purse was reported stolen from a car parked at the Jan. 12. The driver side window has been smashed in, however the victim reported nothing a value was in the purse.

A woman was charged with shoplifting from Richfield Jan. 12.

Police responded to a domestic disturbance on the 900 block of Rae Drive Jan. 12.

A manager of reported a delayed theft of a faucet valued at $159 Jan. 13. The suspect was caught on store cameras taking the merchandise.

Police responded to a verbal disagreement in the , 826 W. 66th Street, parking lot Jan. 13. The male party told Police the arguement started after his ex-wife broke his ashtray and center console in his car.

A man reported that the two passenger side tires on his vehicle had been slashed on Jan. 14.

Police responded to an accident on 12th Avenue and I-494 where one vehicle had fled the scene Jan. 14. The driver was later located and charged with DUI.

Police responded to a domestic disturbance on the 1000 block of 78th Street East Jan. 15.

Police responded to a report of a burglary on the 6300 block of Xerxes Avenue Jan. 15. Items taken were valued at more than $1,000 and police believe that an acquaintance of the victim is responsible.
