What Are Your Trick-or-Treating Etiquette Tips?

Richfield Patch asked its Facebook followers what a some good rules of thumb were for Halloween night. See what they had to say below and add your own thoughts in the comments section below.

With Halloween night already here, Richfield Patch asked its readers via Facebook what they thought were good rules to abide by while trick-or-treating Thursday night. See what they had to say below:

Annie: When I was a kid, it started right after dinner and ended when you started to get tired/crabby/naughty, or 8pm, whichever came first. Once I was old enough to go on my own (teenager) it was "dark" (sundown) till people started turning off their porch lights.

Tomas: 5-8pm feels about right. And certainly, no porch light = no candy, do don't bother!
