Community Roundtable Discussion on Teen Pregnancy and How it Affects Us All Hosted by members of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Iota Zeta Zeta and Sigma Beta Zeta Chapters

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority will host a roundtable discus-sion on teen pregnancy in the community; its direct and indirect consequences, available resources and the sorority and community’s role in addressing the issues. Apr. 16, 11am-1pm at Brookdale Library, 6125 Shingle Creek Pkwy Brooklyn Center, Meeting.

Highlights of the roundtable that will be discussed are:

  • The challenges faced by teen parents
  • Education (secondary and/or post-secondary)
  • Sex Education / Family Planning
  • Employment / Financial Assistance
  • Popularization of teen pregnancy in the media
  • Information on the availability of services
  • Understanding how teen pregnancy affects the community as a whole
  • In depth look at how the community and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority can work to further address these issues
