Richfield is in a Winter Weather Advisory starting at 3 p.m. Sunday.
The National Weather Service in the Twin Cities/Chanhassen says snow accumulations could reach 2 to 4 inches, with as much as 5 inches in some areas.
Unfortunately, that means the snow will coincide with people traveling to and from Super Bowl parties.
"A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow will cause travel difficulties," according to the NWS. "Be prepared for snow-covered roads and limited visibilities ... and use caution while driving."
Snow is forecast throughout the beginning of the week in Richfield, with high temperatures in the low 30s and lows in the single digits.
