Rotary Announces Patty Peterson as 'A Sweet Affair' Headliner

The first of its kind fundraiser will feature a three-course meal, wine, musical performances and a silent auction.

Editor's Note: The following is a Richfield Rotary press release.

Award winning Jazz vocalist, Richfield’s own Patty Peterson will headline "A Sweet Affair" on February 15, 2013 at the Minneapolis Airport Embassy Suites.

Richfield Rotary is presenting the evening of music, dinner, wine tasting and silent auction as an annual fundraiser to support community and international service projects as well as vocal and instrumental music in the Richfield Public Schools.

If you looking for a perfect gift for those special people in your life, this is the hottest ticket in town. Peterson will emcee the evening and perform along with the Richfield High School Jazz Band.

The evening’s three-course dinner, accompanied by wine selections, will be prepared under the direction of Embassy Suites' Executive Chef Peter Christiansen. The Richfield High School Jazz Band and Choir will perform throughout the evening while you browse the auction and sample the wines. It will truly be something special to do around Valentine’s Day, while at the same time supporting the community.

“This is the first year for this event which replaces the Fall Wine and Chocolate Tasting as Richfield Rotary’s major fundraiser. We hope it will become a successful annual event and a worthy successor.” said Barb Devlin, the event Chair. “It is slated to be a thoroughly enjoyable and elegant evening.”

Tickets can be purchased from club members or online at richfieldrotary.org/a-sweet-affair/.
