City Hears More Redevelopment Proposals

Richfield's Weekly Review is back for another week.

The top story of the week for Richfield was the presentation made by Wellington Management Inc. to the Tuesday night about potential plans for the vacant Kmart site.

The plans included demolishing the existing building and starting fresh with three new buildings. LA Fitness and Goodwill were proposed for two of the building tenants, while the other would most likely be a casual dining restaurant.

The Richfield City Council of Jun Bo Chinese Restaurant’s liquor license Tuesday and motioned for the restaurant and nightclub to cease alcohol sales that night. The restaurant’s attorney hoped the council would compromise, but all council members voted against the renewal.
