Southdale Library Used Book Sale

Friends of the Southdale Library plan a used book sale from Friday, October 18 to Sunday, October 20 at the library, 7001 York Avenue South, Edina.  Thousands of books, grouped in dozens of categories from Biography to Business, Sports to Science and more, will be on sale with most priced at $1 or less.  Hundreds of books for children are included (great holiday gifts!), plus many popular DVDs and music CDs ranging from classical, new world, jazz, opera and more. 

Hours are 10 am to 4 pm Friday and Saturday, noon to 4 pm Sunday.  Members (annual dues from $10) can shop early at a preview Thursday evening, 5 to 8 pm.  New memberships will be processed on-site during preview hours.  Sunday, with a few restrictions, all books that fit into a bag can be purchased for $5 per bag.  However, special price books, DVDs and CDs will not be eligible for bag purchases, but will be sold at half the price they were marked at the start of the sale.
