Aspen Equipment Company Hires New Territory Manager and Promotes Inside Sales/Parts Representative

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (July 9, 2013)—Aspen Equipment Co. is pleased to announce that Keri Ulrichs has joined the company as a territory sales manager for its Iowa and Nebraska branches. Ulrichs is an experienced business-to-business sales professional who has grown up around the trucking industry through her family’s trucking brokerage business. Ulrichs received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of Iowa. In her new role at Aspen Equipment, Ulrichs will develop and maintain relationships with new and existing construction, fleet, governmental and utility customers. Ulrichs will grow Aspen Equipment’s Iowa and Nebraska customer base and increase market share within existing accounts by providing outstanding customer service. Ulrichs’ main focus will be on customers of truck equipment including Palfinger articulating cranes.

Aspen Equipment is also pleased to announce the promotion of Mitchell Buzzo from warehouse specialist to inside sales/parts representative for its Bloomington, Minn. location. Buzzo has been employed by Aspen Equipment for nearly one and one-half years, where his demonstrated integrity, superior customer service and willingness to learn earned his promotion into a sales position within the company. Buzzo is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Science degree in sales and marketing from Normandale Community College, which he expects to complete in 2014. In his new role, Buzzo will be a front-line customer service contact who focuses on counter sales of replacement and maintenance parts for phone-in, walk-in and internal customers.

VP of sales operations Todd Foster explains, “I sincerely believe that “Helping People Succeed” should be part of everyday practices at Aspen Equipment Co. and I strive to hire and promote people who embrace this goal.” Foster continues, “Over the past 18 months, Mitch Buzzo has exemplified this philosophy by consistently going above the call of duty to help both our customers and his fellow employees achieve their greatest success. Putting Buzzo in a front-line customer service position will continue to support this mission by giving more customers exposure to a positive, professional and helpful experience with Aspen Equipment Co.”
