A handful of local businesses were recognized by the Richfield Health Advisory Board for their great efforts to provide safe food to customers Tuesday night.

See which businesses took home the 2011 awards.

Nominees and winners were graded on a variety of different areas including how health risk factors are managed, the store or restaurant's food safety training program, procedures in place, cleanliness and more.
