Phase III of Lyndale Station Still in the Works

Three tenants were recently announced for the site.

Now that the 19,200-square-foot building to the southeast of LA Fitness will soon be filled, residents are wondering about the third and final phase of the Lyndale Station project.

According to Steve Wellington, president of Wellington Management, Inc., said it's still in the works:

"We are working on it quite actively," he told Patch in an e-mail last week. "No specific announcements yet."

The project, which redeveloped the former Kmart store, was devised in three sections. First with the construction of the LA Fitness facility, and then the construction of the retail building to the southeast of the fitness center. Wellington recently announced that Firehouse Subs, Von Hanson's Meats and Salon Concepts would be filling the second building.

Phase III, as it's being called, will add a third building (likely a restaurant) to the southwest corner of the property.

Richfield Patch will update readers as more information becomes available on the project.

What restaurant would you like to see at Lyndale Station? Or is there another business other than a restaurant you're hoping for? Tell us in the comments section below.
