With the influenza season already in full swing, Richfield's Assumption Catholic Church, 305 E. 77th St., is offering free flu shots from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20.
Those 6 months and older are all eligilble to receive a shot. In addition, free pneumonia shots will also be available.
According to the event flier, the session is sponsored by Assumption Church-La Misión and the Minnesota Immunization Networking Initiative (MINI): Homeland Health Specialists, Fairview Health Services and St. Mary’s Health Clinics. This activity is made possible by a Grant from the Eliminating Health Disparities Initiative (EHDI) of the Minnesota Department of Health’s office of Minority & Multicultural Health, through an appropriation from the Minnesota State Legislature.
