Pet of the Week: Doyle The 'Snuggle Bunny'

Doyle is great with other dogs and cats and loves to snuggle.

Editor's note: This is a new weekly series called "Pet of the Week" where we feature a companion up for adoption from Pet Haven of Minnesota.

Every two weeks, partners with Pet Haven of Minnesota for adoption events for dogs and cats that need new homes.

This week's Patch Pet of the Week is Doyle:

Doyle has had quite the journey. After his original owner passed away, he was adopted but recently surrendered back to Pet Haven because his owner’s hectic work schedule didn’t allow for adequate attention to this lovely fellow.

Due to a previous back injury, Doyle has limited abilities but you wouldn’t be able to tell aside from his back legs slipping out from under him now and then—but he gets right back up and continues on his way.

Doyle is a lover. A snuggle bunny through and through. He is great with other dogs and cats. He is crate trained and potty trained. He has a charming personality and demeanor. He likes shorter walks and is good on a leash.

Doyle’s ideal home would have older children, limited stairs (he knows
not to go up or down stairs), and owners that leave blankets around so he can snuggle underneath them.

For more information on Doyle, e-mail dogs@pethavenmn.org. More photos of Doyle can be seen at flickr.com/photos/pethaven/sets/72157629614202405/

The next Richfield Petco adoption events are from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 15 and Sept. 29.

I love dachshunds, if I didn't already have three.

Doesn't he just have the sweetest little face? I wish I could have him, but, alas my residence will not allow for it. Thanks for reading!
