Tom Carothers of Richfield is headed to London to watch the Minnesota Vikings play the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to the Star Tribune.
He told the newspaper about his garb and his group:
My purple kilt — purchased in Scotland three years ago — is packed. All told, our group just kept on growing. It initially started as four people with a plan on going to Oktoberfest in Munich — then the Vikes announced the London game. Of the four of us, two are Vikes fans and two are Steelers fans, who rank the Vikes as their second-favorite team.
