Richfield Relives Christmas 1977

The Richfield History Center has opened its newest display.

The Richfield History Center is giving visitors a glimpse into the past with its newest exhibit "Richfield Christmas 1977."

The exhibit features scenes from a typical 1970s Christmas, with the colors orange and green overwhelming the Christmas tree itself. This could be the beginning of a tradition, with the center picking a different year to bring back each holiday season, according to a Sun Current article.

The display can be viewed until Jan. 7, 2012 from noon to 8 p.m. Wednesdays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays. For more information, call the Richfield History Center at 612-798-6140.
