Found Art Walk - taking our journals for a walk in search of inspiration

Sometimes it’s really easy to postpone creating art because we convince ourselves that we don’t have the right materials or we can’t find the right inspiration. Sound familiar? It’s moments like these that we need to step out of our creative space and take a walk. And that’s just what
we’re going to do. Join us as we spend an afternoon taking a walk and
gathering all the creative inspiration our surroundings can offer. We’ll
look for patterns in nature, create a color palette from the flowers
and look for pieces of paper that have messages we can use or that we
could paste into our journals. All you’ll need is a comfortable pair of
walking shoes, a journal/sketchbook, and a writing instrument. A baggie
to collect found items will be provided. You can also bring a camera, colored pencils, a travel set of paints, and/or an adhesive materials
(glue stick, tape, etc …), but keep in mind that we’ll be walking around
so pack lightly. And remember, this is about using what we find and not
worrying about having the “right” stuff with us!
