All Richfield School Board Incumbents Lose Re-Election Bids

Christine Maleck, Tim Pollis and Peter Toensing will join the board in January 2014.

Voters shook up the Richfield School Board roster Tuesday night, electing three new members.

Incumbents John EasterwoodSandy Belkengren and David Lamberger all failed to keep their seats, and will be replaced by Christine Maleck, Tim Pollis and Peter Toensing. The newly elected candidates will begin their terms in January 2014.

According to unofficial results from the Minnesota Secretary of State website, Maleck took 19.78 percent of the vote, while Pollis and Toensing took 17.31 and 18.16 percent, respectively.

Toensing is a former board member who failed to clinch his re-election bid in 2011. Maleck also ran in the 2011 election.
