Police say Dalon Maurice Reed was one of three men involved in an incident where three victims were robbed at gunpoint.
Richfield resident Dalon Maurice Reed, 22, has been charged with three felony counts of aiding and abetting aggravated robbery after a Feb. 7 incident. According to the criminal complaint, Minneapolis police officers responded to a robbery report on the 3300 block of 3rd Avenue South. When officers arrived, they met with the first of three victims. The first victim said he had just come from New Money Express and parked in front of his home when a male, later identified as Bryan Christopher Caldwell, approached him and stuck a black revolver to his torso. A Richfield man has been charged with leading police on a high-speed chase while in a go-kart. Harry Lee Bostick, 30, is charged with fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle, a felony with a maximum penalty of three years in prison and a $5,000 fine. A Hennepin County sheriff’s deputy was southbound on Portland Avenue just before 3 p.m. Nov. 12 when he spotted a black go-kart in the 6400 block, heading north on Portland, according to the criminal complaint, signed by Hennepin County Sheriff’s Deputy Erik McKloskey. Because the go-kart had no lights, license or registration, the deputy turned his squad car around, activated his emergency lights and began pursuing the vehicle. Police say Joshua Dale Vredenburg chased a Richfield man through his yard with a vehicle, before leading police on a rush-hour chase, causing several accidents and a fire before crashing into a house.
A Goodhue, MN man has been charged two felonies after attempting to run over a man and leading police on a rush-hour chase through Richfield and Bloomington, during which he caused several accidents and a fire. Joshua Dale Vredenburg, 20, is charged with second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon, which carries a maximum penalty of seven years in prison and a $14,000 fine, and fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle, for which the maximum penalty is three years in prison and a $5,000 fine. The assault charge has a mandatory minimum penalty of a year and a day in prison and a $4,200 fine.
