Richfield Optimists' Annual Chili Feed Scheduled for Friday

The group's annual fundraiser will be held at Oak Grove Lutheran Church.

Once again, it's time for the Richfield Optimist Club's annual Chili and Salad Dinner at Oak Grove Lutheran Church. The big event is happening from 4:30-7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8. Attendees will dine on delicious chili and salad, and wash it all down with sweet desserts and soda or water. The cost is $8 for adults (or two for $15) and $4 for children 12 and under. The Richfield Optimist Club is an organization that works to support area children with various community programs. The club also gives out scholarships to kids. Richfield Optimists' Annual 'Hole-In-One' Fundraiser Begins Thursday

The three-day event raises money for Richfield youth activities.

The Richfield Optimist Club's 44th annual Leif Holter Hole-in-One Contest is set to begin Thursday and run through Saturday at the Richfield High School field on 70th Street and Lyndale Avenue. The annual event raises funds for the club's efforts to provide funding for youth activities throughout Richfield. The cost is $1 per bucket of five balls and a variety of prizes will be given to winners. Hours for the three-day event are: The event is open to the public.
