Planning your evening for Feb. 14? Want to celebrate Valentine’s Day earlier? Three Rivers Park District hosts a variety of activities Feb. 9-14, 2013.

Victorian Valentine’s Dinner Saturday, Feb. 9, from 6-9 p.m. at The Landing-Minnesota River Heritage Park, Shakopee, for a “Victorian Valentine’s Dinner.” Listen to a pianist play romantic melodies as you have hors d’oeuvres and dinner in the intimate Town Hall. Then set out for an evening stroll in the candlelit Town Square where you visit several buildings, each offering a different dessert. Dinner will be served from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Bring your own bottle of wine if you wish — must be 21 or older. Cost is $35 per person and reservations are required by Feb. 6. Love all the ideas. I think it is better to spend time together than to give expensive things or accessories. Besides a nice bouquet of red roses (I found one for 50% off at bfflowers.com with coupon Vantpromo50) and some chocolates, I will be celebrating staying in, watching a movie together and then planning something for the weekend.
