Richfield Police Aim to Reduce Theft From Vehicle Incidents

Brochures and window clings will be placed on vehicles throughout town.

Editor's Note: The following was taken from a Richfield Public Safety release. Police personnel will be completing risk survey brochures and placing them on vehicles parked throughout Richfield. The brochures contain prevention tips and a window cling to be placed in your vehicle as a reminder not to leave valuables inside. Our goal is to substantially decrease theft from vehicle incidents throughout the coming months and into the future. Help us reduce this crime in Richfield! Brochures with the vehicle clings may also be picked up at the Richfield Police Department lobby at 6700 Portland Avenue South. But it's still such a hassle to replace everything. Thankfully (knock on wood), I've never had this sort of thing happen, but, looking at the police report every week. It's a real problem.   more ›
