Richfield's Dean Breuer Nominated for Teacher of the Year

Breuer is one of 135 candidates from across the state.

Richfield High School business teacher and DECA supervisor Dean Breuer has been nominated for the 2013 Minnesota Teacher of the Year Award. Breuer is one of 135 teachers from across the state to get the honor of being nominated. The program is organized by Education Minnesota. The winner will be announced May 5 at the Marriott Minneapolis Northwest in Brooklyn Park. According to a release, over the coming weeks a 25-member panel of community leaders will name a group of semifinalists, and then finalists. Holy Angels' Pam Boston Named MISF's Teacher of the Year

Pam Boston has been with the school for more than 30 years.

She was honored during a banquet May 4. Boston has taught at Holy Angels for more than 30 years and has served in many capacities from Board of Trustee member to dance team coach. Congratulations to Pam Boston from Richfield Patch.
