Situation: The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office has received reports of persons falsely representing themselves as employees of the Hennepin County Drug Collection Program or the EPA. These persons are contacting families of recently deceased persons and offering to pick up their unused medications. Incidents: Have included the victim being contacted via phone in order to set up a pick up time. The suspect showed up at the scheduled time and identified himself as a member of the Hennepin County Drug Collection Program.
