Have No Fear, Pizza Lucé Will Have Beer—And Hopefully Open Mid-Summer

The Richfield City Council approves the restaurant’s liquor license Tuesday night.

While Pizza Lucé CEO J.J. Haywood said construction has hit a few snags, the company hopes to open its new Richfield restaurant location the week of July 30. “We’re really excited to be in Richfield,” Haywood said, as she appeared before the Richfield City Council Tuesday night. Construction crews are in the midst of converting the former Bridgeman’s site at 800 66th St. The new building will feature an outdoor patio, bar and seat 140 inside. In addition to its interesting pizza options and other Italian fare, the restaurant will also offer a weekend brunch. And with all other ducks in a row, the last item needed was, of course, a liquor license. Fortunately, the council approved the on-sale, intoxicating liquor and Sunday liquor license …
