Starliners Win Season Opener
Holy Angels varsity dance team takes top honors in Missota Conference meet in Northfield.
It was about as good of a start to the 2010-11 season that the Holy Angels dance teams could have hoped for. Surprised and elated, the Starliners claimed first place in the varsity competition and third in the junior varsity program in the Missota Conference opener on Monday night at Northfield High School (NHS). "This feels great," head coach Kelly Newlin said. "It's good to have this nice of a start." The night started off with the five-team JV competition as Chaska, Shakopee, Northfield, Farmington and Holy Angels showed their stuff in front of an adoring crowd that filled the south bleachers at NHS.
