Richfield Foundation to Present 2010 Local Grant Recipients

The Richfield Foundation has selected 11 organizations to receive grant money to continue its work in the community.

The Richfield Foundation announced it will award over $10,000 in grants to various local nonprofits at the Richfield City Council meeting Tuesday night, according to a foundation press release. "The foundation focuses on youth activities—particularly youth at risk—and making Richfield a welcoming community for diverse populations," Gordon Hanson, member of the organization's board of directors, said. Representatives from the nonprofits will be at meeting to accept the checks. The grant money will help further the organizations' community efforts.
