Near Drowning Victim Makes Full Recovery
A 6-year-old girl fell into an in-ground pool in early December 2012.
The 6-year-old Richfield girl who was pulled unconcious from a pool in December 2012 has recovered from the near drowning incident, according to Richfield Police. At 10:56 a.m. on Dec. 9 Richfield Police responded to a home in the 7300 block of Garfield Avenue South. Upon arrival, two neighbors led officers to an in-ground swimming pool where an 8-year-old boy and 6-year-old girl were in the water. According to a Hennepin County Sheriff's Office news release from that day, the girl had fallen into the pool and the boy got in the pool in an attempt to help her.
