Richfield, Much of the State in Winter Storm Warning

Winter isn't over yet. Sounds of snow blowers will be the norm come Monday.

After being teased with warm weather and the sight of melting snow over the past week, cool weather has returned to Richfield and much of the state Saturday as we currently sit in a winter storm warning. While Saturday's temperatures will be relatively warm—at about 29 degrees—and snow accumulation should be less than an inch, Richfield can expect anywhere from seven to 11 inches of snow Sunday with wind gusts up to 26 mph, according to the National Weather Service website. Streets will be slippery, winds will be strong and snow will be heavy. Patch will continue to update the public as weather conditions change.
