Who has the best “decked” house in the U.S.? According to users who voted in our annual Deck the House contest, these 25 houses across all our 900 Patch towns have the best holiday lights. We had tons of national entries in this year’s Deck the House contest and in our quest to find the most over-the-top holiday decorations in the country, we’ve seen everything from a life-size Santa to holiday lights so bright they could blind the neighbors. We loved showcasing everyone’s holiday spirit, but Deck the House isn’t over yet. Patch is launching our annual Deck the House Contest to find the most over-the-top holiday decorations in America—the best “decked” house in the country—the one home so spectacularly decorated that everyone in town jokes your holiday decorations could rival Rockefeller Center’s. If this sounds like your house, upload a photo or video of your home to our contest page from Nov. 26 to Dec. 16 to deckthehouse.patch.com/contest/richfield. Only residents of Patch towns are eligible to enter. We’ll select 24 regional finalists, and from them, pick one grand prize winner. Does your house outshine the others in your neighborhood when it comes to holiday decorations? If the answer is yes, starting on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011 enter Patch's Deck the House Contest for a chance to win $100,000 for your local public school system, $500 toward your electric bill and bragging rights in your neighborhood. The contest will run until Dec. 26 and users will vote for the best-decked house in their town. From there, Patch judges will select 24 finalists nationwide, who will get their December electric bills paid by Patch (up to $500).
